Moving On

Well, life sure has been busy.

We sold our home in Richmond and on Friday we will become the proud owners of a home in Lynchburg, Virginia. We knew this day would come once Trey graduated from dental school, but it's hard to believe it's already here! I can't believe he's been in college for eight years...good grief. Some of his classmates will be in school for four more years for specializations such as pediatric dentistry or oral surgery. Trey, however, is ready to practice and will be joining a group in Lynchburg. Our home is in Forest (suburbs beside Lynchburg) and is much closer to home (Roanoke). We are looking forward to a slower pace in Lynchburg and continuing our family there, as well.

Currently, we are living with his Memaw and Pepaw in the west end of Richmond. I will be working as a 5th grade teacher until the middle of June, so we are thankful that they have taken us in until I'm finished. Trey will begin practicing dentistry once he receives his license in about a month. Since our home in Forest will be ours this Friday, Trey will be going there some and I'll be visiting with Victoria some weekends to get things set up. I'm so thrilled about this new house. It is most certainly my dream house and I'm head-over-heels in love with it. It has all of our "must-haves" and has enough room for us to add more kiddos to our fam. The plan for next year is for me to stay home with Victoria. Another dream come true. I'm ecstatic to be able to spend more time with her, especially during such a crucial time in her development.

Tomorrow is my first Mother's Day and I can't wait to spend it with my baby girl and wonderful husband.

Cheers,
