My name is Elizabeth - although, my closest friends call me Lizzie - and I love to write. An English major in college, not much has become of my favorite hobby, but thank goodness for blogging! I'm provided with an outlet, after all.
So who am I?

I am a wife to my loving husband of almost five years (and my high school sweetheart too, I might add) and the mother of two furry ones, Imogen (cat) and Dean (dog). I am also the mother of a sweet, spirited little girl named Victoria and a very smiley little boy named Samuel. I started this blog when Trey and I first decided we wanted to be parents, May 2011. We were keeping it a secret (for the most part) but I felt the need to share all my innermost thoughts on the subject as we were TTC : Trying To Conceive. On November 4, 2011 I discovered that a miracle had occurred and a little one was in the making.

When I started this blog in 2011, Trey was in dental school and I was a fifth grade teacher. Now we've moved to our new hometown in central Virginia, where Trey practices dentistry and I stay at home with our little ones. I love to cook, craft, run, and explore Lynchburg via playdates with my fellow mommy friends.
